RSS files - Newsfeed
If you see the symbol
or links identified as RSS (Really Simple Syndication), RDF (Resource Description Framework), Channel or XML (Extensible Markup Language) on a web page, you are dealing with newsfeeds, as services in RSS format are also called. Right click to copy the link, or if you open it, you can copy the URL displayed in the address box of your browser and insert it into your RSS reader.

In order to be able to use newsfeeds, you need a small additional programme to display RSS files. Some of these programmes are available as freeware.
